The Girl

There is something about her, the way she walks
So graceful, eloquently smiling like a beautiful queen
The way she lights up a room when she talks
Her voice takes me to that place, unforeseen
The place that only she and I have been
I love her, and her name, oh! her name
Ever since I first saw her, I've never been the same

I am mesmerized by this masterpiece God has created, but I cannot be with her
And the pain is sharp glass cutting into my soul
And yet I must accept that her heart belongs to another
I must keep my passion a secret, no one can know
That I love this goddess, that she makes me whole
I cannot help but scream her name
"Juliette! I love you!" I proclaim
