This is about my sister who was just 5 years old when she got struck by a car. I was eight years old and the only witness at the scene. We were walking home from school when this tragedy occured. Watching her laying there helpless and barely alive still haunts me to this day. She had a broken pelvis, a ruptured spine, a broken arm and many other injuries. She spent a full year in the hospital recovering, but by the grace of God she is now 60 years old and living a normal life. A true miracle!
The Girl
The school
The bell
The street
The run
The car
The screech
The hit, the hit, the hit
The tears
The Ambulance
The worry
The scared
The ride to-
The hospital
The nurses
The doctors
The prayers, the prayers, the prayers
The tears
The wait
The hope
The casts
The healing
The talk
The walk
The recovery
The smile, the smile, the smile
The tears
The girl
