The Gift That I Give You Poetry Contest

I am sorry I couldn’t give more.

As I have had to work.

Just to become an average being.

Because before-

I was special.

And it was great.

Until my condition became critical.

And they took me into the cooling off chamber.

I am sorry I couldn’t give more.

I have already given away my destiny.

Which was to rise.

But instead I was doomed.

To perish in that horrible place.

Goodbye friend.

I have given everything to you and the Ether.

With nothing left to spare.
