The Gift of Your Heart

The most precious things in life can be 
things that are not so obvious to see.
Diamonds, emeralds, or even gold
can always be bought or even sold. 

People to me are worth much more 
because they cannot be bought online or in a store. 
People can change your life
even when you’re confused and have strife. 

So, you can buy 
diamonds, emeralds or anything you want.
But to me what's worth much more  
is the precious gift of your heart.

Sorry I haven't been on much, daily visits to the doctor's office for infusions have been taking more time than I am happy with, but this too shall pass, I just need to be patient...which is probably against my nature!
