The Gift of a Smile

So pains my heart to see you sad
My wish, to bring you glee
But, alas, so distant I am from that
So this, I send to thee

Take some paper, draw a smile
Then cut it to its form
Paste it then on the PC
Where words for you are born

See it there when you need it
A smile to make you smile
Pretend it’s mine, a gift to you
To keep it for the while
