The Gift A repost from 2020

This is a repost of a poem I wrote on here in 2020

I dedicate this poem to the Franklin Family
A family who serves others continuously not only locally, but
in their loving worldwide service of love as they work all year to fill
hundreds, if not thousands of shoe boxes with kits, toys and other needs
enclosed, to distribute at Christmas time for children of many tongues,
tribes, nations and creeds. This is Love, this is Light.

Well done good and faithful servants!

                                                <3

The Gift
You saw me on the street today,
Your eyes met mine, I heard you pray.
You went on to the grocery store,
You purchased needs, and a bit more.

I saw you pick up things for me,
Gifts of soup and bottled tea.
You placed those items in your cart,
And I could see your loving heart.

Then you drove back, and in your eyes,
I saw me in your face.
You like the moon reflecting light,
You were reflecting grace.
Your light was from the Son,
And His love for everyone.

You said God bless, I said I will,
My blessing is upon you still.
Whatever you've done for the least of these,
In His name, you have done for me.

Some do a lot of charity and go about trying to make others happy. Their services are to be acknowledged gratefully. Here you are paying a glowing tribute to the Franklin family. "Whatever you've done for the least of these, In His name, you have done for me." This Biblical quotation should resound in our ears from time to time. Beautifully written dear B. J.Sending you love.

Thank you Valsa, I so appreciate your sweet comment and visit. The Franklins are a very precious family, they are quiet sweet servants of the Lord, and do not crave fame fortune or even praise for their precious contributions of love. I am blessed to know them :)

Aw, thank you Andrea, you are so sweet. I had prayed once that God could use me even as a mortal, but I did have a young lady question me once if I was an angel, and that really blessed me :) We can all be used right here in this world and, what a blessing to share love with others. Your comment truly uplifts me, thank you sweet friend :) <3

Oh Bj, isn't this what it should be like in time of need, for the whole world at large and for the individual soul who is hungry, and suffering. Thank you for your humanitarian poem, sending you blessings from my heart, may they reach yours, xo

Aw, thank you precious Rose <3 They have :) Yes, can you imagine how wonderful the world could be, if only... But there are those who make a difference, and though they may be small gestures of love, they can change a life. I still remember those who have blessed us in small ways that truly made a difference, and I pray they are blessed as well. Thank you for your visit and sweet comment to me :) Be blessed sweet Mystic Rose <3
