The Giant Leach

Depression looms,
like a dark cloud,
following me about,
preventing the sun from shining.

It invades my waking thoughts,
it invades my living,
it's like a leach,
sucking the life out of me.

How do I shake the darkness,
and part the clouds forever,
allowing nothing but sunshine,
to loom above?

This giant leach,
needs a jolt,
to remove it permanently,
so that the happy days,
will always outshine the cloudy days.
