The Ghost Writer Wakes Me

The ghost writer wakes me From a very sound slumber She gives me a title to write To write down on paper I awake at an odd hour To write my title down On a sheet of paper By my bedside table Then I go back to sleep When I am ready -I look At the title I have written I stare at the title Then an idea comes To form my poetry To write my title down I create my poetry

This happens to me often, Darlene. I've written many short poems that come to me just before I doze off. It's uncanny. Perhaps it's because my mind is slowly shutting down? A wonderful write. I write straight in my mobile notepad app. Usually thoughts come at odd hours, I write as I do not want to miss my poem. But many poems are lost. Take care, have a wonderful day ahead friend

You can write in mobile directly. Just download/ use notepad app. Type poem in it.copy paste in poetry soup. I do that. God bless! Take care!

Hello Sunshine Smile, I sense that we all have these ghost writer. e do not write down the words they will be forgotten. Once i had a whole poem the ghost writer told me. Word for word. I awoke and the words were gone. Hugs Darlene.
