The Ghost

Into the eyes, there are many lies.
The things that make it work.
But, sometimes it can be to much.

To go away, be a ghost.
Think that no one cares, or to be the one by your side.
That was a thought in this life.

The scars showed on the hands,
They don't mask the past.

They're all are one in the same.

A pain that won't go away,
A life that moves on.
No matter what happens
No matter how much it hurts.

To know there is no choice of being a ghost.
Because, people really do care.

I've been at this juncture a few times in my life. And, as you say, life moves on...but, is ones' heart ready to embrace that tide, or drown in it? Very intense. Excellent piece!
