The Genius

Well, I've never been accused Of ever being too bright I don't have to think too much Cause my wife is always right Even on my wedding day Before I could say I do My wife done said, "You Better" So, I kinda thought so too Now I never make decisions Ain't that right dear? See?, what'd I tell you? Did everybody hear? Now, my wife says, I'm not henpecked If that's what your thinkin' And, no, there's no chain around my ankle So, just ignore the clinkin' She says, if I will make the money Then she'll make sure it's spent The only money I ever keep Is what I have to pay her for rent Now, I know ya'll think I'm stupid Well, that just simply isn't true My wife says I'm a genius With a perfect ten I.Q. Now, my wife is the one with the brains She tells me so, all the time I know that she loves me too Cause, she tells me, I'm one of a kind Well, she says it's time to end this poem So I guess I better go And I still know what you're thinking It's not because she told me so
