The Genghis and the Kublai

Two little fat boys running with the wind
barking and playful tails a waggin
Kublai has a smile Genghis has his growl
silly little doggies remain best friends

Kublai with short legs trots around the yard
long legged Genghis leaps to feel in charge
If you pet Kublai Genghis begins to yap
he will try to push Kublai out of your lap

Rolli polli doggies rolling on their backs
little paws waving Genghis barks and snaps
Kublai is a mouth breather somewhat loud
Genghis with his big ears he folds and flaps

The Genghis and the Kublai I had for six years
they make me smile and laugh myself to tears
Funny little doggies so different yet the same
my home is full of love and little doggie games
