The Gate Keeper

Shame has closed the way to through the gate Darkness now has clouded its pristine pavement Trees: … Speak not of its existence Speak not of its doorway Speak not of its key Clouds hide the sun’s rays Daring it to try one move Iron bars shield for its defense Putrid smell diffuse through its cracks The wood fails beneath its derelict ness Ho! Ho! Does it cry Voices cry from within the get Hence where do they come from Cries: … So morbid So malcontent So sardonic What confusion is this? So then where is the gatekeeper? What say ye?
