The Garden Pansy

The Gardener Love The roots so deep, slowly grow With tender care There beauty grows From barren ground, they slowly show The kiss of sunshine, warms there soul The gentle touch of summer rain, feeds them all Remove the weed, and let them bloom From a little seed a rose will grow Tall and sleek With spear like leaves, and purple trumpets Stands the proud Gladiola A heart shaped leaf. And a face of colour Calling out I may be small but remember me I surround them all
