The Garden of Life
Children are the seeds
Planted in the garden of life.
Some grow tall, some grow short
Others not at all.
Each day we come to nurture them
And watch them as they grow.
All too soon their flowers bloom
And we reap what we have sown.
The garden is a fertile place
But in it weeds can abound.
If only we protect them from the weeds
Will our plants grow tall and sound.
So what is in your garden ?
Plants and flowers and trees?
Or have you left your garden untended
To be overgrown with choking weeds.
