The Game of Love

The game of love comes and goes,
I always said I don't wish to fall in love again.

This is a game you could seldom win,
Only if you and your friend consented.

Then one day you meet someone handsome,
He likes you and you like him.

You meet and fall in love without saying,
He is very good looking and kind.

A favorite friend beyond care,
For awhile you become best friends.

Then one day he moves out of your life,
To live his own destiny.

Did you win or lose,
You gained his friendship.

His friendship here only to borrow,
He goes his way and you go yours reluctantly.

You say good-bye and continue to live your dreams,
What a good memory forever.

You both won, you gained another's friendship for awhile,
Waltzing cannot come, memories last forever.
