The Game
Resisting confrontation.
Keep your chip up on the board.
Waiver not your aspirations,
seek peace from that which soars.
Welcoming diversity.
Stay focused in the dice.
Unrelenting hesitation
allows a steeper price.
Remain steadfast in the outcome,
play your hand with tender fists.
Ignore the competition
throw away the vengeful list.
For when the game is over,
they will reap what they sew.
Keep your focus on what's yours to claim.
On their conscience, pain bestowed.
