The Future of the Church

So many say of the church
of hypocrites it’s so full
but the world is full also
as hypocrisy is its rule

But why is the church
seem to be losing its effectiveness?
people don't want God anymore
is that the reason for the spiritual mess?

The west has became so affluent
making God to be self
pick Him up when they want
then put Him back on the shelf

But Jesus said when on the earth
the end times will show mankind
to be lovers of themselves
and lovers of God hard to find

Remember the scripture truly says
God's church will be built strong
the gates of hell won't prevail
God will prove them all wrong

Churches were packed on Sundays and Holy days when I was a kid. It seems as we became more affluent we lost much along the way. Sue-Ellen Newman August 2, 2013 at 8:13 AM Amen to this write, yes we are in the end times alright, it makes me so sad when people will stand I did it all myself I don't believe, where is GOD in all the turmoil and violence in the world, these people don't want GOD's hand upon them, want to do it on their own, but as soon as something goes wrong they blame GOD, they just don't see we live in a fallen world but when they need GOD they sure call out to him , how patient he is with us no room to go on great write blessings sueellen
