The Future

I have to let you go and set you free We are no longer meant to be I'm moving on with my life But I never really got to say goodbye In a queue you stood so young and free I couldn't believe that you picked me What happened next was a blast But we both knew it really wouldn't last Years of lying and cheating I took You’d of been better living your life as a crook But each time I took you back When really I should of given you the sack We built a life and built a home Pity, really I should of known That you’d again start your little tricks And have to go out and get your “fix” All alone I sat, believing your lies That is why I never cried Deep inside I knew you were playing So it’s my fault for believing you really were staying Packed your bags when I got “that” call I told you it’s over I want no more, Off you went, not one word said Our life was over, finished…DEAD A baby and new “Wife” you now have I wish you well….I promise I'm not mad I'm over you and what we were Your loss really, that’s for sure I must mention here I have someone new Someone so much better than you Someone who loves me in every way Someone I know is here to stay We’re building a future, a home and a life You never know I might become his wife He’s given me the things you never could And doing all the things you knew you should He’s shown me what a real man is And giving me everything that is his. I love him more than words can say And I love what we are in every way So goodbye N, it sure was fun But now I'm setting off into the sun I wish you well wherever you go But the curtains rising, it’s time for my show… I'm in love in a way I couldn't imagine I'm living my life with love and passion This next chapter is for you and me And it all starts with you Andy….forever we’ll be xxxxxx
