The Futile Quest To Reach Her Planet
In an unreachable galaxy light years away
within a cluster of sparkiing diamonds
in dazzling array
She idly harbours her ravished bleeding heart away.
Many men have tried to reach her planet
board her shore
carried her colours to battle
for the Venus they adore
Swearing undying love
at her tender feet for ever more
With no hope in store
She's lost and so far away.
