The Framework of Forever
The Framework of Forever
(Inspired by "The Architecture of Time" by GOC Ogaraku)
Forget the warp of expanding space,
The pulling weight of a heavy place;
Though Einstein spoke of a bending frame,
The poet locks it in Newton’s name.
No cosmic strain, no speed can flight
The steady anchor that holds the night;
A river rushing one way alone,
By thermodynamic law is blown.
Behold the driver, the cosmic engine,
Beyond the range of our comprehension;
As Schopenhauer once tried to track,
The Blind Desire that won't turn back.
The canvas stays while the pictures change,
The silent absolute, vast and strange;
You cannot freeze what is already still,
Time never moves, for it is the will.
And through it all beats a rhythmic gears,
A structured metric that counts the years;
Anapaestic feet hit a structural wall,
Rhythmic Rhymes keeping pace for all.
Our frantic minds feel it race and fly,
While objective cosmic truth sits high;
The ticking clock of the written page
Enforces peace on our panicked age.
