The Four Seasons
spring… cuckoos make
listen… silence… cuckoos gone
position vacant
~
the voice of summer
a roar of wonder… hark life
new generations
~
hark a whispered swish
a breeze denuding trees
autumn confetti
~
winter respite
hibernating mammals
silent are the nights
