The Fortune Cookie

The fortune cookie with it's lovely shape
the fortune cookie I think smells great.
I don't like to eat them though it's the
fortune inside I like the most and, the
last one I got said it best,
"I show you doubt to prove that faith exist"

Not quite a fortune but, a
                     message from that man,
that God of ours isn't he grand?
That was his answer to the questions
I had been asking, his sense of humor
                     keeps me laughing.

Your poem is truly lovely. I hope you were able to find more peace after our 20 minutes this afternoon. You are so much more than meets the eye, and your kindness and resilience will always see you through. If ever you feel lonely or cannot seem to find your purpose, look back at these words and remember that you are amazing, beautiful, and important. Don't be afraid to let it out every once in a while, and find things to smile about everyday. Stay strong Breeann! -Michelle
