The Forgiveness of God
Father God please forgive me...
For the thoughts that come across
For the ones that don't
The means to an end
When I know better yet do it again
For the times I'm lead astray
When under pressure I sometimes cave
For the things that I have done
When they have not been done in love
When I look elsewhere to fill my needs
To fill my needs selfishly
For not spending enough time with you
When I don't stand for your truth
When I forsake my first love
Saying I care but not enough
When I tend to believe the lies
For not forgiving those in kind
When I'm my heart I feel hate
Before it is too late
Father God please forgive me...
