The Forgiven
I’ve been forgiven by God’s grace
I’ve been unforgotten in His race
I am the FORGIVEN and only one
Who has won this depression wars and I welcome the sun
I welcome the sun
This depression wars within me
Is a battle of countless blessings and cursings
It has given me a reason to be
Forgiven of the wrongs I’ve done in my upbringings
What I’ve gone through as I spread my butterfly wings
I welcome the sun
With open wings
I am a children’s swing
I am the sun’s halo ring
God’s mercy takes me home
Home is where I truly roam
I’ve been forgiven by God’s grace
I’ve been unforgotten in His race
I am holding on to His FORGIVENESS forevermore
I am all alone, but honestly – You’re the one that I adore to the core
I am all alone and sad somehow…
But, I must confess…
You are unforgotten and You’re my backbone
Of righteousness…
I do belong with happiness now!!!
