THE FORECAST
Though rains not forecast for today
For blue is the sky and clear.
Flowers are wilting as they sway
Thirsting for rain to appear.

The gardens are longing for rain,
Thirsting for rain to appear
To bring life to gardens again.
The gardens are longing for rain
But sunshine is blocking the way.
To bring life to gardens again
Rain is needed without delay.
But sunshine is blocking the way
Flowers are wilting as they sway
Rain is needed without delay
Though rains not forecast for today.
