The Fly
Behind closed doors I see her being molested
This is bondage as she can’t free her self from
The terror inflicted and brought day in day out
By her husband and all I can do is to watch, I
Am the fly on her wall...
She is verbally abuse amid my presence, also
Physically touched and suffering. She is bold
Receives punches when she utter words each
Day of her livelihood yet all I can do is to watch
I am the fly on her wall...
She is keen and profound on earning a living,
Contrary to that he takes no deed or any act
To prove his manhood, he is cruel and inept,
Leaves his family to agonies and all I can do
Is to watch, I am the fly on her wall...
He proves his folly each day, As he spends his
Last dollar note on sluts, leaving his family to
Suffer, hunger and starvation his weapons awry
Fashioned to fail his children’s tummies and all
I can do is to watch, I am the fly on her wall...
