The Flower

I am the flower, the air is God's spirit, and the Earth is my faith.
God's grace is the water, the rain is His Mercy, and the sun is His love.
The wind is His touch, the bee is my pastor, and my beauty is my gift to the world.

I am nature's art. I am nature's highest calling.

I'm meant to bloom, to unfold...to allow the bee to help me create more life as my roots grip the flesh of the planet, extending myself into the rays...Moist and
glistening, I sway a dance from the turn of space breathing after the blessing of another release of the clouds knowing, KNOWING, that I will bless every soul who looks at me if they only stop to smell the roses...

This is an awesome tribute to Nature's rose. Beautifully written and uniquely expressed. Really great imagery like; 'as my roots grip the flesh of the planet reaching for the light' I truly enjoyed your poem :)
