The Fling

Memories strewn about,
Sweet remnants of you left behind.
Memories of bittersweet nights,
Left for me to find.
Why did you do this?
Please get out of my head.
You are a sweet toxin,
Too much and I'll be dead.
Please leave me alone,
I can't take this much longer.
This lust will only kill me,
Not make me stronger.
So when you see me,
Just keep walking.
The last thing I need
Is for people to start talking.
