The Flesh Seeks Glory Not Crucifixion
Mankind are a breed of it's own
loving themselves more than any other
made of flesh covered in skin
conceived in womb of their mother
From that day of entering earth
always wanting to be ruling king
to be seated on their royal throne
making servants their orders to bring
But God detests sin of any kind
so seeks mankind to be crucified
to put all their own sin to a cross
sacrificial atonement God then cried
But only Jesus could pay the price
being God alone made Him saviour
to take man's sin to Calvary's tree
there doing for man his greatest favour
So God shows man way of crucifixion
whose purpose is glory to God alone
for man's helpless without Lord's action
only Jesus is able to suitably atone
