The Flea Circus
You've heard the story of the big bad wolf
But I bet you haven't heard about these
Did you know that wolf was just a location?
For a village of performing fleas
I'm sure, you've heard of a flea circus
Well, this is where it all began
And anytime that old wolf would scratch
Those fleas were practicing again
Some would walk the high wire
And they did it without a net
To fall off the wolf's back from that high up
Was as dangerous as it could get
There was nothing quite like the flea clowns
With their funny little flea clown noses
The strong man flea was as strong as can be
Especially when he'd strike his poses
Then they also had the bearded lady flea
And the flea that ran the kissing booth
They paid their money just to give her a kiss
Of course, she only had one tooth
Fleas would come from miles around
And that wolf would throw a fit
He'd scratch all day till his hair fell out
Trying to get those fleas to quit
They had fleas on the flying trapeze
And even a flea to train the lion
That flea scared the flea kids to death
So they'd all break down and start cryin'
So, the next time you see a wolf scratch
Then you see it's almost time
That's when you know the circus is in town
So buy a ticket and stand in line
