watered down soup has lost its flavor ~ the broth is not one to savor it's over peppered and there's too much garlic ~ sometimes vitriolic nothing wrong with a little pinch of salt ~ but don't use words to assault those who post AI should be put in detention ~ maybe suspension don't ladle me a bowl of soup ~ if it's been tainted, and that's the scoop

It has certainly lost its flavour Lin, I think the whole batch should be thrown out and start from scratch, and fumigate the kitchen too. Tom

Hi Lin, I think perhaps the soup, like minds have been left on the stove for too long and minds have curdled, at times for me it has felt more like weighing through a swamp rather than sitting down to enjoy the beauty in our soup, if established poets like you don't speak out about the wrongs then soup for many will be withdrawn from the menu . Great write.

Curdling is likely. I thought about the saying that too many cooks spoil the broth... some hands should never stir a pot. Thanks for your thoughts, Danny. Speaking out doesn't always reach the right ears/eyes. Those who should be concerned never see themselves being in the wrong.

Agree with you Lin, its pretty sour especially with nasty comments on poems and on blogs. I dont post much these days but as you know I am writing for my book and I miss the old days when soup was FUN! hugs Jan xx
