The Flash - the Fastest Man In the World

Jerry Garcia singing on the radio
urges us to "Come Hear Uncle John's band by the riverside"
Night wraps its arms around me
   City lights shine and
are reflected in my eyes
Drums beat slowly as does the heart
Garcia sings "He's come to take his children home"
Soft laughter and my mind
Feels a heavy sense of peace

Matt, I love this kind of poem, just setting the scene for a lovely evening as you listen to the radio in the darkening night. I love the simplicity and peacefulness of it. It would be even cooler if you were right there in the dark of night listening to a live concert!!
