The Flash Before I Forget You

The tunnel is longer than my or.g.as.m. I hold my breath for the flashing of your face— like exit light slapping my eyes when the black yawns open and I am born back into noise. You never stayed long enough to settle in the shadows. Just a glare. A ghost caught on glass.
