The Flames of Freedom

As the fires raged across our shores, And the enemy is breaking down our doors. Hell and havoc, the likes this country has never seen before, Blood, chaos, and confusion struck what we once held sacred is no more. Jihad, Jihad was their battle cry, They said talking was over it was time for the infidels to die. Here we stood weaponless not able to defend our own home or the values we had known, After the government passed that gun control law and made them illegal to own. Most families had took to the hills, Those that stayed behind were either captured or killed. Radio and television stations were the first things they took, Wiping out our communications was the first priority taken from their book. Out of hatred our churches were burned and their ministers slain, Hell and destruction came sweeping rapidly across our prairies to our plains. It came so fast they captured our bases and our leaders without hardly a fuss, As I watched a neighbor gunned down as he raised his fist and started to cuss. Now the bullets are flying around me as I run as fast as I can go, Then I awake sweaty and scared another bad dream don’t you know?
