The First Turning

The moon calls to me,
Primal urges I can not deny,
Changes in my body,
Being turned on in ways,
I can not control,
I feel bones breaking in my body,
Throwing me into a whirlwind,
Landing on all 4's,
Screaming in pain,
Then howling at the moon,
I have transformed into a beast,
Fables I have only heard about.
