The First
She’s kind of startling
Like the tiny gasp before a kiss
A breath of wind
Spontaneous and unexpected.
She's the fall after the jump
When I've used up my three wishes.
I'm a magnet for the broken
Or those who will leave me shattered.
She is neither,
Constantly walking on clouds
Head in the sky
While I trip over my words
And land at her feet.
I look in her eyes a bit too long
And I can’t pull away.
They are full of something,
Something I don’t know
Yet.
But I will try to learn her
I doubt everything
Everything
But her.
