The Fire Rages On

The Amazon is burning
Human carelessness the cause
Environmentalists blame policies

From Brazilian government laws.
It will have a tragic impact the
Rainforest is 
Earth's lung

Reducing global emissions,
A habitat for animals and their young.
Globally it's a catastrophe
Each one of us must pray
Satellites show devastation

Of high temperatures and smoke all thick and grey.
No more deforestation. Don't choke the nation.

It is a sad and heartbreaking situation and then to watch all of the fingers pointed in so many different directions makes me angry. They just need to get it together it stop this disaster.
