The Fire Inside
I burn within the fires
of a secret heart desires
to love and lust with all it inspires.
There is an ember glow,
deep inside my soul
when dreams are in the flow.
A magma river that streamed
sliding in and out my dreams
where you held my heart in loving screams.
Fan the flame, let the oxygen breathe
and in your arms I can be the thief
where I alone am shaft and you the sheaf.
Let the fire consume you and me
never set me free
while I'm lost in the embrace of destiny.
I yearn
in the obsessive turns
within my heart that burns
I'm on fire.
