The Finest Dream I Ever Knew

you gave me the light
of the sun and kept
me warm...

you kept me warm

And when the days
were as nights
you hugged me close

i asked you "why?"
(of all the finest dreams
i ever knew it is you)

leaning over you kissed
the tears of my eyes
and then set me free

of all the finest dreams
i ever knew
i dreamed of only you.
