The Finding

The Eagles of Shadowfire and Heartstone
Mighty wings spread
Not missing a beat
Onwards they sped

For a Heartstone Eagle
Finding its' home
Made it stronger
Soar higher
Fly longer

Through the night
Navigating by stars and Faerie light
Aided by a fair south wind,
they entered the lands of mist and magic

The mist closed in
The Eagles' feathers grew brighter
Like a travelling star
They sped across
They have come so far....
Soon it grew lighter...

A gentle descent, you see
They broke through the mist
Below a forest of green..
Could this be the Whispering Trees?

Hidden for so long...
The Whispering Trees
Ever looked upwards
Searching for eagles
That soared in the breeze

To see eagles above
Created such a murmur
A joyful bending of canopies
For the time had come,
to renew the bonds of love

Leaves glowed too
Fiercely green
The forests were alive and strong
For they knew...
A King and Queen
One day to return
Fill the air with magic
For, they waited so long

The forest opened wide,
and in its' heart
Lay the Castle Heartstone
Waiting by its' side

Magic filled the air
The Castle, beautiful down below
Sculptured in stone
Down, they swooped, down they fell
Landing by the Great Hall
Nothing had changed at all
The Whispering Trees
Hid a castle so well
now, they were never alone
