...."the Final Toast."

"What does light have to do with darkness!?...."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Like mixing champagne miscreants
Within a simile laced frosted glass
Of crystalline stones mingling these
Crowned guises....
Fatidities of peremptory phantasms
Oracular silhouettes of the predisposed?!
Rising in unison unto a collective toast
Toward deceptives destiny; their very own
Whisperings billowing within ceramic tones....
These phantoms of the Pharoahs final call
Unto finalities masquerading opera
Respondez, s'il vous plait!?
Where on a blackened tie adorns this omnibus
The guest of honour with such, hollowed eyes
Smiling, as pressage greets them all....
Raising this metaphoric flume; a symbolic vessel
To these midnight mass miscreants of soporifics
Fatiditized oraculary made realities; fasicles
Standing before phelonians robes of fallacy?!
While as fantasias final chords begin their
Beckoning from afar; this preemptive echoing
Personifications, blood red rose....
Calling, afore this latter days gatherings of
Soon to be forevers, predisposed; ex parte
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

....The final toast!?

So very sad this final call to the masquerade opera and there are a lot of RSVPs. No matter what is playingor how long...sometimes it seems sooo long, John! Yet, light is always invading..always steady and sure. Merci beaucoup pour les comments! Toujours l'inspiration. Love, Audrey

Good day, John! "A final toast' sounds sad. I should be sad today, snow dropped from the clouds last night.:( But, even the snow will look lovely when the sun comes out. You always bare your heart and soul when writing; this piece is no exception. "Repondez, s'il vous plait", moi, je repond!:) Have a wonderful day! Best to you and yours. Love to you, Mikki

Deep thoughts on departing souls, John. You have a remarkable vocabulary and employ it well in all of your writes. In this poem I really liked your use of alliteration and the line about the Pharoahs is incredible. Hope you are enjoying the holiday weekend, my friend. Wishing you joy and blessings! Love, Carolyn
