The Final Cut?

Cut up
from lack of sleep
and crying over you
My heart is broken; forever
scarred

Nigel, this is so sad and it wrentches my heart to read it. But great poetry sould move us. That is the point! Even though the scars remain we become (or should) richer emotionally and more understanding to the heartaches of others. Awesome write! Happy New Year! Love, Robin

I like the new title--much more creative than the intial one. I think most will relate to a times like this in their lives. If you are adhering to the syllable format of 2-4-6-8-2, there is a syllable missing from the last line. Some people adjust this somewhat for a particular message which may have been your purpose here. Thank you for your kind words regarding my poem. Keep on writing! Karen

A broken heart and the pain that accompanies it can take a while to overcome. Forever scarred shows the depth of the pain in this write. Great job.

Hey, get some sleep! Tomorrow will be another day for inspirational messages. Don't loose any sleep over it. Things will work out and you will see. I like the message and the flow of the words. Great job! ~Joseph

heartbreak has happened to us all, and you may feel like you never going to get over this person, but time heals all wounds, there is happoiness at the end of the rainbow, you just have to believe it, take care D-nyce

Broken hearts heal, and scars get old and somewhat forgotten when new love sings it's glorious song. Sorry for your pain. Hang in there and have hope for a brighter tomorrow. Love, Shar

Nigel - Always remember that true beauty is born with-in - external beauty comes and goes - Sounds like inside you are very beautiful - Stay Strong and God Bless
