The Fight

Now we were doing just fine
Laughing like always
Then you say this
Knowing it sparks a fued

So now you want to fight
I'm trying to be civil
But you're not making it easy
I'll start screaming if you'd like

Why cant we be nice?
Is it just not possible?
Maybe we're not meant to get along
Fighting is all we ever do anymore

Could you make the wound any deeper?
I don't think it hurts enough
There aren't enough tears on my face yet
This fight should get worse

Are you mad enough yet?
Or is it my turn to scream?
Because every fight has two sides
And only one has been told

How can two people
Who used to adore one another
Turn and grow apart
And forget they even know each other

You have a point
But I have one too
We just don't get along
So we need to stop

I feel bad enough now
You can stop yelling
My heart is on the floor
Along with my love for you

No more arguing
No more tears
It's over; I'm done
With this crap and you

So see you later
Have a nice life
My voice is gone from screaming
And all I can do is cry.

Well, no more.
