The Feelings Tonight

Relationships come and go, like the coolness of the gentle breeze.

Sometimes boon, sometimes bane, sometimes nothing’s the same.

There are times we’re good, yet most of the time so hard to please.

Happiness is just a moment to share, and suffering brings more pain.

Tell me how to believe again, your touch, your care, your words?

How am I supposed to dance in the rain, when you were never there?

How am I gonna smile genuinely, knowing my soul suffers ten folds?

It’s only you who could ease the pain, by making it all fair.
