The Feeling Still Remains Today

At the time we met I'd was sure to bet someone like you would never even think about nor want to date someone like me much to my surprise we did come to be not many other people though believed we were meant to be so sad really we said goodbye now I sit here and cry cause although years have since gone by the feeling still remains today Time had gotten away from us yet one day again we got in touch talking about our past and how it was to bad it didn't last decided to give it another go how were we to know that we still were not ready to be one another's rock we weren't that steady and like looking through a looking glass back to our past it would again come to pass of saying goodbye and again I cry cause even though it was so long ago the feeling still remains today For so long now I've searched for you always looking for anything to give me some small clue of where you are or who you had become I'd hoped so hard with all my heart that day would soon come see I believe very deeply we should've never been apart memories of those moments are locked away deep inside no longer wanting to hide thoughts of you and how we were fill my every waking moments things are clear now not a blur no more do I want to be left here to wonder why so many times we had to say goodbye no longer do I want to cry cause even though time and years have flown by away from us somehow in the blink of an eye the feeling still remains today
