The Feeling

Do you know the feeling?
That stirs deep inside your gut.
It clutches the heart inside the chest,
Fueling the adrenaline rush of fear.

My heart is beating out of my chest,
Leaving my limbs stuck in unrest.
All sound around me is silent,
My ears blocked it all...fret ?

Fear is crawling right up my spine ,
My light dimmer by the hovering dark cloud.
I feel my breath being wasted away,
I'm spiraling towards the darkness.

My eyes are clouded by unknown fear,
My tears eager to run down as pain's elixir.
I won't act out in front of everyone,
No one understands that gut wrenching feeling.

I feel it squeeze my lungs out of breath,
I'm quiet, as fear slowly consumes me.
Why me , why this premonition, the intuition,
Others tend to call it superstition.

It's like being invited to a front row seat,
To witness something gruesome to occur.
I have a feeling something bad is about to happen.
