The Fear

I see you everyday
Roaming in the halls
But you don't see me
You never see me
Because I make myself invisible
I don't know why
Its what I prefer
You don't see me
Because I don't want you to see me
But then one day you do
And the fear takes control
And I don't know what to do
So I don't talk
I don't say a word
Because of the fear
Of something that I don't even understand
But it's a fear
And it's there nonetheless
And so you continue
Roaming in the halls
But you don't see me
Because I make myself invisible
I don't know why
But maybe it's the fear of
Feeling alone
