The Fear

I knew you were here before
The way the cold breeze
And you
Came in thru the door
And I could see that
You were hurt
And more
The way your heart and eyes
Rolled across the floor
I had a lot to say but I said
No more
Or I will be the one whose heart
Will have to pour
Out all the fears I fear
And forever more
Be the one who breaks your heart
Worse than anyone before
I must run away right now
Or for sure
I will be the next cold breeze coming
Thru the door
