The Fate of the Innocent

From scratches on rocks,
to the printed book.
Came the modern man
and the world shook.

In such a short time,
so much blood's been spilled.
From courageous men,
on the battlefield.

To avoid the war,
that will seal our fate.
Let us heal the wounds,
of sorrow and hate!

After the violence,
a haunting silence!
