The Fat Blue Government Pen

It was mine, it was there, my heart and mind told me so. Why would it be denied me? Could it be the young woman felt overwhelmed, too busy to remember her humanity and compassion? Not knowing or realizing what I've been through, why a blue pen and the significance of trust lost,seemingly such a small thing could occupy my mind.
